Condition notes:
Some of the medieval letter forms on these are unusual and difficult to read, with occasionally a letter form actually representing two letters in the inscription. While this would explain some of odd spelling of the obverse inscription, this coin clearly seems to have the "REX" reduced down to just the "X".

Obverse : Enthroned figure of Edward forward, head right, and holding a sceptre, with "EDPARDX ANGLOR" around (this is an abreviated form of EADWARD REX ANGLORUM). Reverse : Voided short cross with a bird in each of the angles, with "ARNGRIM ON EOFR" around (Arngrim at York mint). Generally well struck, but there there is some weak letters on the obverse. The image makes this coin look very grey, but in the hand it has a good slighty toned silvery appearance. 19.3 x 19.7 mm. 1.14 grams. ........ gVF   $395.00
